FPAC Meeting May 29th

The regular meeting of the Finksburg Planning Area Council will be held Thursday, May 29th, not May 22nd. The meeting will be held at Sandy Mount United Methodist Church beginning at seven o’clock.

Meeting Agenda:

I)  Matthew Pajerowski, Chief Water Rights Division, on Gerstell Academy well water request approval.

2)  General Business Meeting - Group work session to identify current issues in preparation for our meeting with the County Commissioners in June.

3)  We will also provide updates on current issues facing the Finksburg community.

The County Commissioners are scheduled to attend our June 26th meeting. Please put the word out so we can have a big crowd at that meeting.

The Council of Governments meeting is May 29th. Board member Mike Davis will represent FPAC.

The hearing on transferring a non-conforming use from Vogt’s Auto Parts to Copart Auto Salvage is scheduled to resume on June 3rd. Board member Don Hoffman is planning to attend.

Election for the new Board of Directors was held on April 24th. The new Board of Directors for 2003 include:

Directions to Sandymount United Methodist Church

From the West:  Take Rte 140 East to the intersection at Sandymount Rd. Turn South (right) on Sandymount to the Stop sign. The Church is immediately to your left, straight across from the Stop.

From the East:  Take Rte 140 West to the intersection at Sandymount Rd. Turn South (left) on Sandymount Road to the Stop sign. The Church is immediately to your left, straight across from the Stop.
